Hup Kee Residences

Hup Kee Residences is a new medium high-rise development that aims to cater for families of different sizes

Situated within a mature housing neighbourhood in Kuching, Sarawak, Hup Kee Residences is a new medium high-rise development that aims to cater for families of different sizes, offering 216 apartment units ranging from studio to 3-bedroom configurations.

A contemporary residence designed for convenience, each home is semi-furnished with wardrobes, kitchen fittings, air-conditioning, and completed with a balcony for residents to enjoy unparalleled outdoor views. All units are elevated above the ground floor, which consists of road circulation and car park.

Streamlined design with accessible lifts and stairs enhances user-friendliness and convenience

The essence of the architecture draws from its surrounding context, blending in with the natural landscape topography profile while adapting to the existing elements to minimise the destruction of the initial site.

The highlight of Hup Kee Residences is its single-loaded and open corridor design, which enhances natural cross-ventilation and promotes the entry of natural light. With straight corridors and easily accessible lifts and stairs from each living module, the design of the apartment building’s circulation places an emphasis on improving user-friendliness and convenience.

Eco-friendly design with sun shading and local materials reduces the building’s carbon footprint

The implementation of passive sun shading and privacy design techniques, such as brick fins and RC ledge awnings, which are built with locally sourced materials, reduces the building’s carbon footprint.

Hup Kee Residences is ideally built for families and well suited to Malaysia’s tropical climate.
