Featuring built works
Tree Cube
Kenneth Tan Design Architect (KTDA) has created the Tree Cube, a social and educational hub located among school buildings. Comprising three distinct cubes for learning, working, and communal activities, the design emphasizes natural light, ventilation, and artistic features, enhanced by a dynamic interplay of greenery, light, and shadow.
Hup Kee Residences
Hup Kee Residences in Kuching offers 216 semi-furnished apartments, ranging from studios to 3-bedroom units. Elevated above parking, each unit features air-conditioning, kitchen fittings, and a balcony. The eco-friendly design by MNSC Architects incorporates natural ventilation, sun shading, and locally sourced materials, making it ideal for Malaysia’s tropical climate.
AV3 House
Design Network Architects transformed the trapezoid-shaped site into an opportunity by offsetting the building line on both sides of the boundary, creating two distinct projections. By softening the sharp edges with a full-height curving glazing, it becomes the focal point of the house, designed to accommodate a feature tree.
