Welcome to The Borneo Architecture Journal (referred to herein as "BA.J"). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of BA.J. By accessing or using BA.J, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

 

1.  Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BA.J, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you may not access or use BA.J.

 

2.  Use of Content

All content provided on BA.J, including but not limited to articles, images, videos, and any other materials, is for informational purposes only. The content is curated to showcase architecture projects and related topics. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the content.

 

3.  Intellectual Property

The content on BA.J, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software, is the property of The Borneo Architecture Journal or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, display, perform, or otherwise use the content without the prior written consent of The Borneo Architecture Journal.

 

4.  User Conduct

You agree to use BA.J only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations. You further agree not to:

  • Use BA.J in any way that violates the rights of others.

  • Use BA.J to engage in any unlawful or fraudulent activity.

  • Use BA.J to distribute spam, viruses, or any other harmful computer code.

In no event shall The Borneo Architecture Journal, its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of or inability to use BA.J, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory.

 

6.  Exclusion of Liability

The Borneo Architecture Journal makes no warranty or representation regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information on BA.J. Your use of BA.J is at your own risk. The Borneo Architecture Journal shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or use of BA.J.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Borneo Architecture Journal, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of BA.J or your violation of these Terms of Use.

 

8.  Changes to Terms

The Borneo Architecture Journal reserves the right to modify or revise these Terms of Use at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms of Use on BA.J. By continuing to access or use BA.J after any such changes, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms of Use.

 

9.  Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or in any way connected with your use of BA.J shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Malaysia.
