Pa’dang Church
In July 2015, a volunteer mission led by Ar. Wong Siew Ling constructed a church and community hall in Pa'dang, a Penan settlement near the River Adang, Sarawak, using local timber and overcoming logistical challenges with the help of 32 volunteers.
Building Habitat
In May 2010, members of the PAMSC committee with their family and friends volunteered at a Habitat for Humanity job-site. The objective was to raise awareness amongst architects about Habitat’s activities and to show how simple it is to give-back to the community.
Building Community
Building a toilet for a local community becomes an event where social issues such as the lack of public amenities, housing and educational support can be highlighted, and people can come together for a common good.
