University of Technology Sarawak — Phase 1 & 2
The University of Technology Sarawak will be a major education hub, designed to significantly contribute to vibrancy while attracting more than 5,000 students and staff to the urban fabric of Sibu. Situated adjacent to the historical Sibu airport runway, the organic formation and orientation of the site grant the design team from AkiMedia the opportunity to magnify the sustainable qualities and achieve a green-rated building design.
Giants by the Coast
The new GIS and admin buildings at Tanjung Kidurong, designed by IDC Architects, blend function and beauty. Located 20 minutes from Bintulu, the 275 kV GIS building is a high-tech power node, while the admin building features an atrium and modern design elements.
Maya@Likas
Light, air, and natural beauty pervade the grounds of Maya@Likas by Kenneth Tan Design Architect (KTDA). Through the ingenious use of innovative and green design, residents enjoy green walls, wind tunnels, and seamless visibility that connect the inside with the outside.
