Keranji House
PAM Awards 2022 | Shortlisted for Single Residential Category
Surrounded by mature trees, Keranji House by SML Architects embraces its natural surroundings while employing permeable strategies suited for the tropics.
Ramp House
The Ramp House in Penang by Design Network Architects reinvents the typical courtyard house, celebrating the journey through the house with a series of ramps; at each landing, life unfolds. It is the result of a collaborative effort between several architecture firms.
JV35 House
OCTQ Architects crafted a home where fun meets functionality — a sculptural, blossom-inspired staircase and a four-storey rock climbing wall add playful charm, while the maroon façade brings elegance. Vibrant walkways and stunning KL skyline views complete this dynamic, party-ready space — perfectly reflecting its owner's bold aesthetic.
Jalan Hup Kee WC House
J HOUS Studio transformed this double-storey house with Japandi design, blending Japanese and Scandinavian aesthetics to introduce functionality, warmth, and light into the space.
Janda Baik Getaway
Designed by SML Architects, Janda Baik Getaway is a serene retreat in Bentong, Pahang. Set on a sloping 6.33-acre site, this two-storey home blends with the tropical jungle, maximising natural light, fresh air, and scenic views, while using locally sourced materials for easy construction.
Botanika Garden P House
ADA Designer of the Year Award 2024 (East Malaysia)
ADA Best Residential Design (Landed) 2024 > 3000 sq ft | Gold winner
Botanika Garden P House, designed by J HOUS Studio, masterfully balances geometric forms with an emphasis on natural light, utilising strategically placed windows and a skylight to create a calm and harmonious ambience.
AV3 House
Design Network Architects transformed the trapezoid-shaped site into an opportunity by offsetting the building line on both sides of the boundary, creating two distinct projections. By softening the sharp edges with a full-height curving glazing, it becomes the focal point of the house, designed to accommodate a feature tree.
Family Court
A pair of detached houses in Kuching by Hwong Architect completes an enclave of homes; each a treasure chest of jewelry boxes, one contained within another.
House at Urat Mata
PAM Awards 2024 | Silver for Single Residential Category
Designed by MNSC Architects, House at Urat Mata features unorthodox rectangular vent blocks as the building façade for sun protection and privacy, using an open layout to blur boundaries between living spaces, creating a harmonious balance between architectural coherence and functionality.
Roof House
Designed by MinWee Architect, this is a modern interpretation of the tropical family home; compact planning with a good balance of indoor and outdoor spaces, and well defined spaces using simple construction.
